I have to say I'm absolutely mystified by the workings of television. As my friend Cory pointed out, how is it that a show like Laguna Beach can run for several seasons, while a show featuring Jack Black as a super-intelligent astronaut and Owen Wilson as his sidekick motorcycle doesn't even make it past the pilot stage? Well, hopeless pining aside, I here at Testoesorotica am proud to bring you the pilot for just such a show. Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you "Heat Vision and Jack":

That was God damn amazing, Chris. Possibly the only good thing that Jack Black has ever done. Aside from the inevitable suicide, of course.
This show is comedic brilliance. I can only think that either it was ahead of it's time, or the execs making the decision to pick up the series just don't understand comedy. This would have easily been one of my top 5 shows to watch. I'm very dissapointed that I won't be seeing anymore of this.

this show rocked. i love jack black and owen wilson. i laughed the whole way through. i say screw the network and keep making the show, good comedy is priceless.
You do realize that this was not a pilot but a gag made by Stiller, Black and Wilson. It was never going to be a series. Its just a group of funnier then hell guys making a "pilot" and having fun.
